added heat to insure maximum biological and physiological activity.
Excessive heat is particularly harmful to colostrum’s effectiveness (including the

during the first 24 hours after the second calving and after the calf has obtained all
that it requires for survival. While transported from the farm to the processing plant, it
is refrigerated (never frozen, because freezing colostrum requires heat to thaw it). It is
then spray dried (without heat) in a government-inspected processing plant where the
unwanted fat is removed. It is then laboratory-tested to insure the biological content and
purity of the product meets New Life's high standard of quality. New Life Colostrum
is then encapsulated in a natural bovine gel capsule which allows for an easy and more
natural breakdown in the small intestine -- where it does its best work.

the human digestive system, and for the benefits of colostrum to be made completely
available to the mammalian biological system.

New Life is the only colostrum that is
refrigerated, and not frozen at the dairy. Freeze-dried colostrum is not
water-soluble.

New Life colostrum is dried without
added heat. Excessive heat, especially the intense heat generated by pressing colostrum
powder into tablets, dramatically decreases the product’s effectiveness.

New Life is processed to remove excess
fat.

Life Colostrum must meet the following stringent criteria before it is packaged and
offered for sale:

It must come only from certified
healthy, grade A dairy cows with the needs of the calf being met first.
|
|
It must be collected only from the very
first milking after the second birth, to ensure maximum biological and physiological
activity.
|
|
It must come from cows which have been
pasture-fed only and certified to be hormone, pesticide and antibiotic free.
|
|
It must be refrigerated and stored in
special containers and transported to our government- inspected plant for processing and
packaging. These specially developed containers keep the colostrum constantly in motion
which prevents it from becoming a gel at the colder temperatures, making it possible to be
water-soluble.

It must be filtered, under a special
process, micronized and homogenized to make it water-soluble and break down the long-chain
molecular proteins (immunoglobulins) for maximum assimilation.
|
|
It then must be mixed with the colostrum
from thousands of other cows to bring about a standardization and to maximize the immune
factors.
|
|
It must be processed to remove the
excess unwanted fat and then dried without added heat in a special spray-dried process.
This process is much more costly and time-consuming than regular high-temperature
processing.

|
It must be laboratory tested and
consumer safe. New Life does required testing for E.Coli, salmonella, pesticides, heavy
metals, antibiotics, and other pathogens. Additional testing is required to verify a
high platelet count which is a sign of active "friendly" intestinal bacteria.
This additional testing also requires a minimum of 16% immunoglobulin.

It must be encapsulated in readably
soluble bovine gelatin capsules.

Any batch that does not meet New Life's
minimum quality requirements must be immediately destroyed.
